So please bear with me.
For me to visit you in Hawaii,
It would be a 5 hour flight across the sea.

This is assuming, of course, that you still live in Hawaii. With so few posts, I can't tell where you're at, as your profile says "somewhere over the rainbow".

I'm no longer in Hawaii...
Hubby's Med-Peds Program brought us to Texas.
Hurricane Ike moved us north of Galveston while the island recovers.

Hmmm...so your DH is med/peds....

My DH is peds as well, but a surgical subspecialty. I'm not sure how many of those there are around here, so I may have just given myself away.

Another hint: I am a relatively new medical spouse, and aquired two awesome step-kids when I married DH.
