So I meant to get a gift for you
But I was very worried about turning blue
Although my town is very sunny
Heating bills and med school suck up all the money

No Christmas shopping have I done
Mostly because I miss the sun
But soon, soon I will shop
And as for my list – you are on the top!

Off to med school did DH just go
And into IMSN did I run
To learn how med spouse survival is done!

So because I am very new,
I’ve learned from BTDT-ers, just like you.
I mailed your gift off today
So I suppose I should give myself away.

Here’s a clue, just for you,
No champagne toasts or spiked cider can I enjoy.
Because this holiday I am carrying a girl, and not a boy!

I'm so glad that you are all enjoying the gifts - I have to admit, Mr. Leukocyte was so cute, I fell in love... DH and I have been talking about making a microbe-mobile for our daughter's crib! (Is that super geeky?)
