I live near a city,
Size medium-large,
A city that's very,
Politically charged.

Named after a man,
First Prez of the States,
This city constantly has,
Boisterous debates.

Left vs Rigth?
There's always a fight.

Traffic's a mess.
This place causes stress!

I moved near this city,
Of political animosity,
From a small farming town,
Lots of open land around.

Twas a shock to my senses,
These tiny yards with big fences.

But one comfort remained,
One thing was the same,

The big city near me,
Of great politic games,
Shares something with my home state:
They have the same name...

I have so much fun watching these threads! Even though I set out up every year, I never remember the matches and try to guess along with everyone else.

Lol. I think I just pm'd Kris and didn't even respond in the thread!! I don't do SS much bc I'm so swamped at the holidays-- but it is a lot of fun!!!

Peggy - your package arrived today. It is awesome!!! I need to see if my state does something similar. I loooooooooove all the goodies. The tea is amazing. I did not try it yet, just opened the bag to smell and it was so good. Can't wait to make a cup tomorrow morning. I am especially touched that you even included something for my "babies" - THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! (((HUGS)))

You are very welcome!! I'm glad it arrived. Market spice tea is Delicious-- and it has sentimental value to me bc my grandma used to brew us a cup of market spice tea after lunch every time I ate with them. It's just one of those things that always remind me of those fun days when I was just a little kid hanging out with my grandparents!! And chukar cherries are actually produced on a farm that dh used to work on when he was a kid. They didn't start making the chukar cherries til more recent though. My mom always stops by the store and buys a bunch of goodies from there to bring over when she visits us.

Anyway- I'm glad you like it! I had a lot of fun picking stuff out!!!
