  • When does it end?

I mean the utterly adorable randomness (is this a word?!) of kids. I'm feeling very happy/sad as my daughter is approaching her 4th bday (way too fast!!) I love how she thinks it is really neat to wear a white satin dress-up gown over cotton polar bear pants. This morning, she was a mother cat packing her bags for a "trip" and I was laughing (to myself, of course!) at the random things that were essential for the trip - a fake bird from our Christmas tree decor, etc. Or how it is so much fun to just put a sheet of paper on the floor and just jump over it oh, 18 times in a row. Or how much fun it is to get a birthday express mail order catalog in the mail and ask your Mom to read every.single.item on the pages that you like at least 15 times yesterday and already 6 today! So at what age does it end?

(I want my kids to stay little forever )

I don't know - and I don't WANT to know. Quinn figured out that a P w/a circle & line through it means you're not allowed to park there (actually he was worried that it meant HE couldn't be there since our last name starts w/P. I explained about the parking). So he spent our entire drive to school today telling me where I wasn't allowed to park.

I thought it was very sweet.
