Jacob while eating his breakfast:

"I forgot to chew a cheerio. Don't worry - my stomach acid will chew it up."

I realize it's not-so-funny on the surface, but dh's 'stock' line when the kids eat something gross (as in, off the floor) is "Don't worry. That's what stomach acid is for."
