    Webkinz

    We are fully involved in the Webkinz craze. DD now has.....4? Since Christmas here, the kids have gone nuts. There are 3 area shops that carry them and they disappear with amazing speed.

    It is a fun concept - and I do appreciate the low cost. (DD has two Lil kinz - $5 - and 2 Webkinz that were gifts -$12) It is the first time she's been in to something that the kids compare. That's led to many discussions. This friend has 12 Webkinz!! The injustice!!

    Does your daughter have online friends to "invite over"? I think the W store is so cute - but obviously teaching my DD to be a good online consumer. She can tell me what's in her shopping cart and show me how to check out. I should set her lose on Lands End to order her own back to school stuff next year.

    We haven't, but DDs are enthralled by the Webkinz stand at the mall that I try to run by.

      Between the 2 girls we have over a dozen. I'm so glad there is something cheaper and more interactive than Build-a-bear.

        We, too, are in the Webkinz world. It's really cute. DH likes to play the games, too. He likes Polar Plunge and Battleship.
