Short version: DD2 had high fever Wed PM - Friday AM so I called pedi office on base. Couldn't fit her in so went to urgent care. He said right ear looked a little red and Rx antibiotics. Started her on those Fri PM and they are causing diarrhea, crankiness, etc. Fever broke last night/early this AM and she now has rash on face and trunk: ROSEOLA is my guess as DD1 had it around this same age, too.

Do I continue antibiotics?? I know it's important to continue but I worry about her stomach, too.

I wish we had a decent pedi.

Could she be allergic to the antibiotic? Has she been on this one before?

Definitely call the Peds office. I would assume allergic to antibiotic til proven otherwise.
