  • No one told me the "Three's" were magical

After surviving the infant stage, enduring the ones and limping through the terrible two's, I swear the third birthday brought me every mother's dream. Maybe it's the teacher in me, but oh my god, these guys are a kick! I actually pulled them out of preschool or should I say
"preschool" so I could spend more time with them. I seriously want to wake them up right now so we can continue theorizing about what killed off all the dinosaurs. I absolutely love this age. Love it.

Happy belated birthday to the dudes! I'm glad you're having so much fun with them. Good for you on taking the moment in and enjoying it!

Well....I wasn't quite ready to pass up the free time afforded by preschool, but I liked three as well. Especially with my first. I think I got all the independence building out of the way in the early 2's and 3's were, as you said, a kick!

        Happy Birthday to the dudes!

My dude is quite hysterical these days as well. I actually thought about having a couple mental health days with him in the near future. Thanks for the inspiration!

I first read this and wondered if it is an April Fool's joke. I am happy you are enjoying the threes. That year isn't getting the same response in our household. DD#2 had her hugest meltdown yet yesterday outside in front of all the neighbors to view.

I'm with you. 3's have always been harder for me with my children. I found for to be much more "magical." Each child has their own personality, and I am hoping that my daughter's becomes a little quieter (in so far as the screaming is concerned) in the next litttle while.

I really love the ages up until about 4...when they start getting that little independent streak

I also didn't sign ds up for preschool for next year....He'll be 4 in November and dh was surprised....I just can't imagine not having him around though...
