dd #2 has ring worm. she has two large circles on her back. at first i thought she fell on her back against a toy. i tried lining up toy trucks to her back, but nothing matched. i called my friend who is a ped. resident, described it to her and sent her a pic of dd's back. positive. yuck.

i grew up walking barefoot in cow poop, horse poop, chicken and duck poop.(TMI?) not once did i get ring worm. dd plays in the dirt and gets it.

yuck. laundry here i come. four weeks of anti-fungal. yippie.

Oh no! Is the medicine easy for her to take?

One of my girls has had it for a few weeks too. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to bother her.

          Hope it clears up soon!

Our cats had ring worm. It takes awhile to get rid of (in the cat at least). Apparently it's highly contagious to people, so we were told we'd probably get it from the cats, but we didn't. I think you can get a cream to put on to clear it up. Do you think she got it from the dog?

soooo....today, both dd's were fighting over a chair outside and i saw dd#1 bite other dd. so, so angry with her.

dd#1 got sent to her room, dd#2 cried and had teeth marks on her back.

about an hr later, dd#2 sat down next to me, and what do you know....a perfect little circle on her back....that looks suspiciously like the "ring worm" she had a few weeks ago.

guess it would explain why the anti-fungal cream worked so quickly.

im so not happy with dd#1. this is obviously something that has been going on, and im so stupid...i just noticed it.

We thought Anna had ringworm a few weeks ago but then realized it was the way she fell on her bike. The end of the handlebar got her cheek. Otherwise we would have been doing the same!

Bummer about the biting. Anna was a biter. I think it is partly feeling like a defenseless smaller kid but still definitely not ok.
