Two Years Ago

We were granted parenthood status! (got the tax deduction on tax day!)

Man, I never, EVER want to go through something that nerve-wracking again. On top of the entire adoption process to have to stand there in front of the judge and explain how I would care for their citizen...let's just say my hair still stands up when I think about it.

I just checked the weather in Perm. It's actually in the 40s to low 50s during the days and 27 at night. Pretty similar to when we were there.

In honor of our Court Date anniversary I will not be putting on a suit. I will be taking the small boy for a walk on the Riverwalk so that we can feed the ducks.

We'll have all of the fmaily here to celebrate the day we got home. (April 29th)

The funniest part about it was that the Russians expected my husband to speak about income and how much we paid for our monthly mortgage, etc. Little did they know I wrote that part of his speech- the poor guy didn't have a clue!
