Britax sale

Our Sears had the Britax roundabout on sale for 89.99 and the Parkway for 39.99. They are returnable to the store. I am wondering if something is wrong with them because that is some kind of sale.

Britax is probably changing styles, and I think they're more stringent than most retailers about not having 2 of essentially the "same" thing side by side. I got a similar deal on 2 Britax during a model-change thing. I ended up getting 2 for less than 1 normally costs.

They couldn't sell them if there was really something wrong with them.

I actually just bought a roundabout at Sears for DD #3.
There is nothing wrong with that one, it is just a discontinued style, and is already a year old. Because they expire in 5 years, you are essentially getting a years less of time to use the seat, so they really should discount them. It is a good deal! You can check online to see if they have on in your local store (but it doe not show the clearance price online, you have to go buy it in store).

I hit that clearance sale too! They only had the Parkway left, but it will be used. I did notice the manufacture date to be late 2005, but for $40, it's a great deal. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with them, they just need to move old inventory.
