Did she really think that's what it was?

I was actually kind of old when my mom and my older brother figured out that I had been saying the Lord's Prayer all wrong (was always said in unison with everyone else, so I, and they, didn't realize). They had me say it to them so they could straighten me out line by line. I had something wrong in most of the lines.

The only part I remember (other than that my five-years-older-than-me brother was dying with laughter) was that I thought that it was, "For Linus the kingdom, the power, and the glory . . ."

Like Linus from the Peanuts comic strip.
Married to a hematopathologist seven years out of training.
    Raising three girls, 11, 9, and 2.

“That was the thing about the world: it wasn't that things were harder than you thought they were going to be, it was that they were hard in ways that you didn't expect.”
    Lev Grossman, The Magician King
