Nikolai came to us sucking his fingers but has never attached to one particular toy/blanket. He refused a pacifier (thought I'd try during one desperate moment while we were still in Russia.
He has stuffed animals that he snuggles with but none more than any of the others-
I think it's a kid by kid thing.
Now, when we did get him back from Russia he was so used to sharing his crib that he did the Spread Eagle thing when we'd put him down and just crack up laughing when he didn't find anyone. He's definitely a "give me my personal space" kind of guy.
