Zoe just finished her 4th physical therapy session. It has been so funny to see her in this environment. There are toys, no siblings to fight with her for them...and all she does is cling to me and cry if the PT tries to touch her. I have never seen her be shy like this.
Seriously, the first few times she went, she acted like she didn't understand anything going on around her and had never played with a toy. The PT would try and give her a toy and she would just give her a blank stare back.
Today, we followed the same pattern of her refusing to look at the therapist, crying when gently prodded to touch a toy etc unless I got on the floor and played with the toy with her.....until...the PT brought out food as a last resort! So finally, the PT found the way to Zoe's affections....food, glorious food.
Want Zoe to rotate, play with toys, walk over a mat? Lure her with yummy treats and she is all yours
