    Ditto what Annie said. I wouldn't yank mine out of school, either. I guess I am in more of the "life goes on, with or without DH" mentality.....but my son was only in kindergarten during residency.

    I don't think you are a whiner at all, but I don't think living in a rental waiting for your hubby sounds like nirvana, either. :huh:

      I'm not in your shoes so this is given with a grain of salt.

      Lots of good ideas here. I probably would not take him out of school. I know how this training is, you probably won't see him very much. I wouldn't want to risk really screwing up the kids routine / schedule. My girls needed the consistency and schedules at that age. They had alot of activities and would have missed their friends, home, etc. Think about how long it takes to adjust to a new place. By the time they adjust you will be returning home.
