  • I am ripping my hair out

Seriously...Zoe can not self-entertain AT ALL. I just sat down on the computer and she is now screaming hysterically....as if someone is ripping out her fingernails one at a time.

    I can DO NOTHING.

    NOTHING, I tell you.

My tolerance for baby whining and crying is absolutely ZERO.

I am seriously considering running away from home.

Ds2 was also very needy until he hit ~18 mos. I feel your pain. He could self entertain, but only with me right there.

OK, so this weekend DS and I went to Lowes. In the middle of the store, for absolutely no reason whatsoever, DS shouts REALLY loudly, "But MOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!! I don't wanna be at Lowes! I wanna be at HOME DEPOT!! I don't like Lowes. I like Home Depot! Home Depot is better!!!"

???WTF???? Where did THIS come from?

So I tried to calm him down, assuring him that Lowes was a perfectly fine choice for hardware shopping, but he is inconsolable. He starts bawling, tears streaming down his face, sobbing: "NO MORE LOWES!! HOME DEPOT, MOM!!"

People were STARING. I am pretty sure even Lowes wanted me to leave.

                That's great!

Similar thing happened this summer with DS...not in the store, but in the car. I was driving to Walmart which is across the street from Target. As soon as I turned towards Walmart, he started shouted from his car seat, "No, mommy, not here, I want Target." Seriously, he's 2! When did he get such an opinion about it?!
