Master Luke is almost entirely potty trained- and his first successful #2 was on vacation! In a strange potty! Yeah!

There is hope for all of you out there! I seriously doubted if he would ever pee, and I never even dared to hope for poop!

I'm not boasting, I'm trying to encourage you all! Because I had absolutely nothing to do with all of this. The child doesn't take a suggestion from me, that's for sure!
    Peggy

Aloha from paradise! And the other side of training!

Congrats! You give me hope. and I'm totally jealous...

I've gone back to the underwear for social occasions like school but we're back into the pull-ups at the end of the day and on weekends because I'm over the poo.

Thank God it ended for someone.

Peggy, any thoughts on what made this finally happen?

Like Jenn said, I think we'll go back to pull-ups at our house, too, because it just "ain't happenin". So cats can be trained but not my DS?

                    HOW COOL!

begging and pleading doesn't work with my little guy either. Thanks for sharing your ray of hope! I just keep thinking, "7 years of cloth diapers (yes, I do those, but the new kind), and I'm almost done!"

I have absolutely NO WISDOM to impart. This child, my darling precious Luke, broke my will totally. I said, forget it, I am not training him for at least another 3 months. Then, he started to sit on the potty and pee like it was nothing. A week later, after waiting for a pull up to do the dirty, he also decided to tackle that monster. The child did it himself, really.

There really is hope there! Really!!!!
