We haven't done back to school shopping yet. Add that to the list. But I won't be going to Limited Too. Holy crap.

DD is now size 7 which takes into a whole new world -- now she is size 7-14 or something like that. It's amazing how the styles change. Yikes.

    btw, I love Emily Yoffe.

I'm soooo glad to be able to put my girls in private school where they have to wear a uniform so they can't beg for "trendy" clothes. For fun clothes, jeans come from Children's Place (boot cut in a dirty wash but NOT low rise), Crew Cuts (pricey but with good sales, cute clothes, but nothing slutty) and Gymboree (my 9 year old is hesitant to shop there anymore).

I see some of my daughters' friends on weekends who are dressed in ways I don't find appropriate. We've been known to give clothes for birthday presents so we can try to influence their attire.

As for shaving legs, DH and I have already decided that as soon as our 9 year old mentions it, I will help her use Avon's hair removal cream. The poor girl took after me (we both use a hair lightener gel on our arms) with dark thick hair.

Both girls like to wear make-up for play (just being silly) and they wash it off if we go anywhere. They have taken ballet for 5 years so they do wear it for recitals but very tasteful (brown shadow, fair blush, light lipstick, brown mascara).

I know Catholic school isn't the answer to everything but I sure am happy about the uniforms and the lessons on religion.
