  • eau de vomit

We have only very small amounts of carpet in our house- on the stairs and the master bedroom. The rest is wood laminate. And so what spot exactly did Isabel vomit copiously on last night?

Any suggestions on how to get the stench out? We cleaned the carpet immediately, and have used lots of "spot shot" carpet cleaner since that's the only kind we have.

    Re: eau de vomit

The only experience I have w/ this is from the dog and it was Ricks car. That said, it got into the foam padding under the carpets and under the leather in the seats and it all had to be removed and either replaced or REALLY cleaned.

and that's one of those smells that once it's in your head, you can't get rid of it for a while. (if ever, Rick ended up getting rid of the car because he always smelled vomit in it.)
