I post this as several people have mentioned adoption recently. For an international adoption, you can use any adoption agency that's accredited in the respective country and you use local MSWs to do the Home Visits.

We wanted to let you know the Adoption Center of Washington anticipates their new Russian reaccreditation sometime this month. We will continue to work in Perm and Yekaterinburg but also will have opportunities in other areas of Russia. We have been told that many of the children needing forever families are toddlers (2 - 3 year old boys) We are ready to home study and prepare families for first trips in the not too distant future and don't have too many families waiting.
If you are interested in hearing more about our Russian Adoption program and some of the wonderful changes we have made. Give ACW a call. Please feel free to past this information on to anyone else who might be interested in adopting from Russia.
