Also, don't forget that Walmart will not cover birthcontrol for it's female employees but does cover Viagra. Getting birth control isn't even an option if it's prescrbed for something other than birth control. I continue my personal protest by no longer shopping there.

My vote was the middle one- I think it's great that Barbie and Ken get to have a baby but I also am leary of any more messages sent to girls that having babies is neat or cool. (Perhaps Rick's nephews are the cause of that- the idiots!)

I'm with all of you on this issue. Heck, my sister and I used to make our Barbies pregnant by stuffing clothes under the dresses so this will be a lot easier for little girls! Kelly, you bring up a very, very excellent point - stroll over to the music and video game aisle and I'm sure you can find several things that are worth more energy.

By the way, I'm sorry that I have been keeping such a low profile on this board! Life has just been quite hectic in a good way! But I wanted to share that we found out that we are going to have a little *girl*! We are both super excited about this news! Only 4 more months to go!
