  • My poor baby!

I just got back from the 3rd visit to the Dr. for our youngest and we found out she has pneumonia! She has a history of that and RSV, so I kept asking whether there were any glaring signs pointing to pneumonia and they didn't really think so. Since over 2 weeks have passed and she is still miserable, they went ahead and did a chest X-Ray and sure enough! I don't blame them for missing it since she still never presented with some of the signs, but it did make me realize that as her mother I should trust my instincts a little more.

ALWAYS trust your instincts. As an ER nurse, I can't tell you how many parents probably saved their children's lives, or averted real disaster buy trusting their instincts.

Sue - I hope she gets better soon! Poor little thing! I hope she isn't too miserable and that you both can get some rest! Always trust your instincts.

I hope that she is up and running soon. This is terrible news!

Thanks guys--she was actually kind of chipper last night, but today has been pretty crabby and coughing a lot. The poor little thing hasn't felt well in weeks and it has been draining on all of us. Maya hasn't gotten to go to playgroup, reading hour, or any of our normal activities so we've been relying on TV to entertain her. Anyway, thanks for the well wishes!
