Jessica, it is great to hear that you are feeling better and that you have a wonderful support staff!

We had our near 36 week (35 5/7) check up this past Friday. Pictures showed this baby is still growing and healthy. He is still estimated huge, about 7.5 lbs right now. Although the estimates range from 6.5 to 8.5 according to the sono report.
The whole issue with gestational diabetes has been ruled out. DW met with a nutritionist and a diabetic nurse and has been checking her blood sugars 4 times a day with no abnormal readings for more than a week and no major eating changes either.
There was a check to see if any cervical progress was being made at this time, and there is none. So, discussions are now that they will do another sonogram about the 15th of April (barring nothing happens before then).

So we are hoping that natural labor doesn't start on its own until after the 16th of April. That way she will get credit for the month and not have to repeat it!!

So plans are being made, and my MIL will be here in less than two weeks she will be here for at least a month!! (YEE-HAA-in sarcasm)

Jessica, I was approx. 20-22 weeks when the sonogram was performed. Until that point I had thought there was something majorly wrong with that pregnancy because I was HUGE, much sicker, and things just didn't seem *normal*. I found out at my first sonogram that there were two babies and I actually felt a bit relieved (although the overriding emotion was shock)! The physicians had not found two heart beats before that because one twin was hiding behind the other or something like that I was told. (btw - I'm yet another Jennifer on the site. :P )

Yeah! I am almost 16 weeks and feeling good! I am eating like crazy and not nauseated! Woohoo! We get the ultrasound in 2.5 weeks. I am still a little scared that it may be twins. If it is I will need tons of reassurance from Peggy and Jennifer. I am starting to show now too so it is time to get the ole maternity clothes out. Thank heavens for 2nd trimesters. Any of our April babies born yet?

            Jessica--
Glad to hear you're feeling better. I was definitely green around the gills for the first couple months, but never had to lie on my bathroom floor . I REALLY feel for what you went through! I, too, am feeling a lot better. I am almost into the 14th week, thank goodness.

Take care everybody! Hope all the pregnant peeps are feeling good.
