Third Pregnancy Questions

Hello Everyone,
Found out recently I am expecting my third child. I actually took three pregnancy tests because I couldnt believe I got pregnant so quick. My question is has anyone out there thats been pregnant more than once begun to show quickly????? My hubby and I are amazed at how quick my belly is growing, I know your muscles know what to do with a third kid but has anyone else experienced this. In a week literally I blossomed. I am actually going to have to be in maternity pants soon. Also has anyone else experienced morning sickness with previous pregnancies but not with the last??? This is the first time ever I have not experienced morning sickness???? I luckily have a dr's appt this week.

Congratulations Maria--seems like just yesterday that you posted something about trying for baby #3. I did show much quicker with the second baby than the first. For the first pregnancy, I didn't wear maternity clothes until I was over 7 months pregnant. The second time, I did seem to have a "pooch" almost right away, which I think was a result of stretched out stomach muscles. I was un-pregnant for less than a year before getting pregnant again, so I guess they didn't have much time to get back to their usual shape. I can't comment on morning sickness as I didn't have that with either baby, though I was a lot more nauseated the second time, just never actually threw up. Anyhow, congrats again on the new baby. It is so exciting when there is a new baby on the way!

How old is your youngest? If it hasn't been that long since your last pregnancy then it could be that your uterus is still pretty relaxed - thus taking less time to stretch out. It was 4 and half years between my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy so I don't think I showed any more quickly. With my oldest two, my baby was only 6 months before I was pregnant again and I popped out pretty fast.

As far as morning sickness goes, I had it for all three but if you're lucky enough to not have it, then enjoy!

My third pregnancy began showing at about 10 weeks! Of course, I was a rail-thin size 2 and in very good shape going into that one (my third one that is) so what can you expect? I had excellent stomach muscle tone ( a "six pack" if you will) but I still began showing super early. I think it may have more to do with how your body responds to the hormones pregnancy produces (perhaps it is possible that the more pregnancies you go through the quicker your body responds?). The worst, though, was when I was about 20 weeks in and looked about full-term. I kept having people ask me if I was having twins again!!! (My second pregnancy was twins). Weeks after this last baby was born my son asked me if "I had another one in there". I'd say that if this is your third pregnancy you are perfectly allowed to "show" mighty early!
