    Spring Break in March

    All I can say is WHY, WHY, WHY...the weather is cold, damp, dark and dreary and I have kids home this week who are doing nothing but fighting, destroying the house...(they've dumped out every drawer in the playroom and I am SO NOT going to go and take care of it ). They all feed off of each other and derive energy from destruction....It's truly horrible. Right now I'm asking myself why on earth we would have a spring break...then an easter break...gosh...why even have a break I officially want to start a movement for year-round school Any takers!: :!:

    You could move to Douglas County, Colorado, they have year round school there.

        My kids don't get their break until the week before Easter and it's only W, Th, Fri. But then they get so many days off here and there that it's ridiculous. I think bankers work more than teachers here. I hope the week they have off has nice weather. That way I can take them to the zoo or park or something to wear them out. At least it's the last day, right? They return to school next week?
