    I've been using the smaller receiving blankets as large burp clothes. The more DD eats, the more she seems to spit out, so the larger size works well. Also our bassinet was a hand-me-down and didn't come with sheets, so I use a larger receiving blanket to wrap around the mattress.

    Our DD is a complete opposite of Alison's and LOVES the vibrating chair and the swing. If it wasn't for them I'd be stuck carrying her for hours. Luckily both were gifts.

    We actually have better insurance now than we did in residency, but DH also happens to work at a much nicer hospital.
