  • Poor Aidan

He is SO excited about going to first grade. He made me drive him by the elementary school and then he asked "how many grades are there? 9?". When I told him 12, his eyes popped open wide and he said "what? Well that changes everything. ". I'm not sure what his big plans were because he immediately started calculating how many years ahead he will be from Zoe!

Awww! I love it. Rich is only three and says, "That's my school!" whenever we pass by one.

It's great that he's excited about school! Encourage that. I hope BabyK feels that way. For the time being, we do a happy dance when we get ready for school/day care. He gets all excited because momma is excited. (Try doing the happy dance with a fever. The things we do for our kids.)

It truly is hilarious what they say. My little sister, when in kindergarten, informed my mom that she would be done with school after fifth grade.

Haha, my poor little brother was so anxious about Kindergarten that when my mom told him she had signed him up, he yelled "Sign Me Out!!!" over and over during our annual Wal-Mart school supplies trip. He's 6 weeks from graduating...I'll have to ask him if he's gotten over that yet
