  • Sand table or box recs?

Do any of you have a recommendation for an outdoor sandbox or play table?

    Thanks!

Please tell me this would be an outdoor thing? I can't imagine your clean-a-holic husband doing well if you intentionally brought sand into the house...

I thought of your DH too!!!!!!!!! I would avoid both if you have neighborhood outdoor cats!!! See how she likes the sand (at someone else's house). Oliver HATes the sand.

Oh, I didn't think of cats!
Dd loves tinkering with her hands, and likes a bath toy that I got for her that has a mill-like wheel.

She's a very clean kid, if that makes any sense. She always wants me to wipe her hands when they get a little dirty. She also hands me specks of dirt and lint. Who'd she get this from?

I guess the sand thing was just a brain fart. Dh would lose his mind!

My boys LOVE sand (and dirt ... and mud ... ), we have a Step2 sandbox with a lid that keeps all the debris and critters out. If you're still thinking of getting one, that is.

We've got this step 2 table and keep just sand in it. We've got a rogue neighborhood cat and she's never got in it... The top really stays on.

D didn't like getting his hands dirty, so I never got one. K enjoyed the sand at the beach, though....P is just gonna have to wait until we move.

But yes, make sure you cover it well if you leave it outside. Animal poop is just gross.

The standing water table is HUGE here at our house. We did a separate Mr. Turtle sandbox with lid so sand and water didn't mix. Honestly, though, the water table is the more popular toy. Enjoy!

Thanks! I think we'll go with a standing water table, although it has been so rainy here that water-anything does not sound appealing at all!
