Babysteals has babylegs as their offer tonight in girls' colors. I can't remember who asked about these...

Aww, and they're the "mismatched" ones, too! So cute!!! Wish they had some boy ones...

OMG, I bought a ton on the last clearance deal on the babylegs site, I think DH wants me to slow it down (although he does keep putting the tights on DD). But thanks alison - between Trumpettes and babylegs, I'm broke.

Dd tripped down three stairs the other day, head first, because she was wearing socks without grips. I threw all her non-grip socks out. I'm so traumatized.

OMG!!! That is awful! Poor M. Does that include Trumpettes? (They have the wording that is gripped, right?) Not that this will be an issue for us yet, she isn't even crawling yet...but I'd like to keep it in mind.

              Yes--Trumpettes have grips.
We have slick hardwoods, and I feel so horrible. Dh was home and he had a look at her. She's fine! I'm the one who isn't!

I've tried the Babylegs on her again, so that she can be barefoot at home, but they just come off her legs too easily.

Not sure if I saw this here or on facebook, but someone used fabric paint in the little squeeze bottles to write and draw designs on the bottom of socks. Gripper socks are hard to find for older kids but still helpful.

I always have R in shoes because he slips on our tile. Usually the soft soled Robeez but they keep him from slipping.

That's brilliant! I'm gong to do this for the four-year-old's socks. We have wood and marble floors.

Today there are colors on babysteals that would be ok for boys, if you don't already know.
