  • The pooping Crocodile

I just had to share this....We got home from preschool today and Alex said he was tired....he wanted to lay down and watch Pinnochio...which was fine with me. I made us lunch and the he laid down on the sofa with his show....
    \
I decided to use this time to catch up on my emails, the website, etc...and gleefully sat myself down at the computer. About 30 mintues into this, Alex came upstairs covered in diff. colors of ink He had gotten out his crayola markers and had colored a portrait of a 'pooping crocodile' (Don't ASK...I have NO IDEA) on an entire side of a wall...this portrait was a good 8 feet across by 4 feet high...he had used a chair to complete it and colored on the chair too. He came and announced to me that he had done this and proudly wanted to show it to me.

Needless to say, I have done everything humanly possible to get these supposedly 'washable' markers off my wall. The only thing that finally worked was a bleach cleaner, and I used 1/2 of the bottle 8O

    That'll teach me!

    Oh my goodness Kris!
A few weeks ago, Sydney got permanent marker and marked up 4 different walls as well as her bed. I could have wrung her little neck! I still haven't figured out how to get the stuff off!
    Awake is the new sleep!

I feel your pain. Magic marker was our motivation for painting our entire kitchen.

Yeah, I guess every family has one of those stories-

Apparently my uncle crayoned in HUGE letters in purple Crayon "Sperling (my dad's name) is a Big Fat Cow" on the ceiling of their bedroom. Apparently my grandfother nearly stroked...

And then, fast forward 20 or so years, we're staying at my gandparents as we're getting ready to move to MD from PA and my brother pulled out his nifty brown crayon and colored all over newly painted walls. (Same part of the house, too) Again, my grandfather nearly stroked!
