Hi everybody--After 36 hours of an incredibly painful induction and failed vacuum attempt X 3, Keelin Dureen arrived by C-Section on October 5, 2003 at 10:01 PM. She was 8 lb even and 20 inches long. She is GORGEOUS! Highlights (and lowlights--haha!!) of labor and delivery can be seen at keelinfisher.com. Mom and baby were both a little worse for the wear (mom very sore from 4 hours plus of pushing then C-section, baby with hematoma on head from vac!) but we are both doing better. Incidentally, my husband is from Chicago, so the fact that Keelin was born on the same day as a huge Cubs victory, plus the first win of the season for the Bears, it was an even bigger day. This is incorporated into the website which is in slideshow format so click once on each page to start/change. Take care everybody!!

Thanks, everybody! We are making a nice recovery at home. My in laws came and swept through this house just like they do on "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy". (We just moved, so there were boxes all over, now basically unpacked thanks to relatives). I am really grateful for their help, but I am looking forward to just the three of us starting Thursday. Hope everybody else is doing well!
