  • Mom Stays in the Picture

I loved this article! So much so that I almost immediately had DH take a picture of all of us after reading it. I may have a puffy face and bags under my eyes, but I'll only be pregnant with this baby once and ten years from now I'll just be happy that its been documented. Here's to staying in the picture.

Sweet, but still not enough to get my ass on front of a camera. I've detested cameras for a very, VERY long time. I used to work at a historical site as a period actor with full costume when I was a teenager. I've had my fill of cameras and don't feel even a little bad about it.

As a wife who is watching her mother-in-law live what is likely her last year, I beg you to let your husband take your picture with your kids. DH won't have a lot of pics of his mom in her younger years, or even more recent years. I'm glad she is now smiling for the camera so we will have pics to show the kids a few years from now.

It also goes back to this letter which I may have posted here before.

I love that. I don't have enough pictures of my mom when I was little. I treasure the ones that I do have!

I have a picture of my mom holding me as a toddler on my desk at work. I recreated it with N and framed the two side by side with some heartfelt words for Mothers Day. My mom says it is the best give she's ever received
