  • Ideas for a nursery theme?

I'm having a little boy in November and would love to hear some quirky ideas for a nursery theme. We're currently renting so I can't paint the walls, and am probably going to use stick on wall decals to jazz it up a little. I want to use bright colours and cute prints, does anyone have any funky ideas for a theme?

Not funky but I love nautical themes...

If we were to have another kid, this would probably be the theme:

I heart you DD. That is what I am going to do DD's room in. Girlfriend is nearly 4 and still wakes multiple times a night sometimes. This morning, at 3 am, she had apparently climbed out of bed and was trying to get back in but kept falling asleep mid-effort. I picked her up and she couldn't even speak because she fell right back asleep. It is even worse right now because both kids are in the same room while DS's room gets skim coating done.

How about Dr. Seuss? You could do all sorts of fun things and use accessories with multiple colors.

              Art Deco with primary colors?
              Veggies (check Ikea) ?
An animal that hasn't been done, like the platypus.
              80s arcade?

Love the platypus idea! My imaginary child will have a walrus-themed room.
I'm just trying to make it out alive!

Sharp eyes. I think it may be an elephant baby?

                      Hi gotbfdk,

Why don't you take a few minutes to introduce yourself.

I'm sure you can already see that we are a gaggle of fools regarding babies! Congrats by the way!
