Hysterically funny. It is a good thing I work from home. The bit about the socks? Spot on!

He is really funny - I really enjoyed his account of taking the kids for their shots: http://jasongood.net/365/2012/08/thi...t-six-times-2/

The socks get K1 every. single. time.

Yes! I'll add mine when I'm not so exhausted. The other day, he was so amped up that he was arguing with me that he is "NOT A PERSON!!!"

One frequent freak out in our house is when his "banana is broken". Not what is sounds like. He's talking about a literal banana that is literally broken. When he unpeels a banana and it breaks before he can get all of the peel off. . . he hates that. Totally freaks out and starts demanding that I fix his banana. And I have to be all grown up and not laugh.

Or, there was the freak out about a month or two ago when he discovered the opening/fly in the front of his briefs. He was very upset, demanding to know who put holes in all his underware. And, again, I have to be all grown up. . .

I crack up whenever DS plays with his trains. He'll unhook a car or pull one off the track, then run over in full freak-out mode, crying "Oh no! Oh no! Train is off the track!" I'll say "Can you fix it?", and he immediately gets super-serious, and says "Ok." then goes over and fixes it. It makes me wonder how many other freak-outs are just him playing and I'm just not saying the right thing afterwards.

Dd was rolling around on the floor whining for no real reason. We asked her if she was tired (it was around dinner time), and she said "NO! I'm cranky!!!"
