    Ok dance moms...

    What do YOU wear to your kids recital? Do people dress up for these things??
    Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.

    Our experience is that it runs the gamut - church clothes / business casual to overalls and dirty boots.

    I wore a dress I'd wear to church or a school play with heels.
    Cranky Wife to a Peds EM in private practice. Mom to 5 girls - 1 in Heaven and 4 running around in princess shoes.

      Totally a regional thing, I think. I would go with church type clothes.

        Huge variety. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. When we had four in company I was In yoga pants and running shoes helping do quick changes backstage. If I can sit in the audience I'll wear something nice but not too dressy.

          So slacks and a top and some REALLY cute shoes is ok, right?

              I always have to dress in all black to be backstage. One of these days I'll watch from the audience.

                  Good choice! Our recitals were always pretty casual but my mom was always the one super dressed up.
