O.K. someone else on the board has to get pregnant so I have a cyber buddy like the rest of you recently preggers did. Come on, any takers? I can't do this alone. I need someone to share my neuroses with. Please?

Well, I can share the expectant mother thing but not the pregnancy thing- will that help?

I definitely have the neuroses, though.

jloriene, have they given you a date yet as to when you're supposed to meet this little person? And have they assigned a specific one to you?

        Jenn,

Absolutely...now we can freak out about how we are going to be able to handle this together. Dude, you just don't know how neurotic this whole impending parenthood thing can make me.

No dates- just a bunch more hoops! We finally got fingerprinted (FYI- the days of ink pads are over- they do it all on a computer thingy now- I guess it must be automatically sent someplace for analysis. Good thing I'm not a criminal) and tomorrow we go get our criminal histories.

Rick missed our home visit- duh- they scheduled it on a weekday at 11 AM. They just do not undertstand that he can't take A day off, can't leave work- "I'm sorry Mrs. Jones. I know you're having a seizure and your Parkinson's is worse, but I gotta run home...", and doesn't have control of his schedule (Can Rick come on the 3rd? No. 4th? No. 5th. No.) So now we rescheduled it for the week that he's on leave (first week of March)

Meanwhile I have my physical on Monday and he's getting one of his buddies to give him one. (otherwise with the Army it's a multi-step process to get a physical if they're active duty. It can take a month.)

So....I signed up to do the Avon Breast Cancer two day walk (yes, that would be a marathon and a half in two days....) but I needed something else to focus on because I make myself nuts most of the time. (We have the entire family sending "Stoli"'s (that's my Russian child's name until met) birth mother happy thoughts like "you don't want that vodka- have a nice glass of milk instead..."

UGH- neuroses are us, I guess!!

            how are we doing Jenn?

By the way, I've joined your families' attempt to send mind controlling thoughts to birth mom's way. Now, if only I could get myself to eat better.

Do you have any premonitions: boy, girl, singleton, twins? Are you allowed to have a preference or do you just get the luck of the gender draw like the rest of us?

As for me, I'm getting acne, showing earlier than last time, and wondering how I'm going to keep this three ringed circus going.
