    That's sad. The schools are so stratified. Here, almost everyone takes the SAT/ACT and almost everyone goes to college. My kids have so little exposure to those that don't I worry about them understanding how privileged they are.

    Seems like this is another area where we are "sorting ourselves" in to communities.

      Holy balls. 98% of our oldest kiddo's graduating class are going on to college (86% have need and/or merit based scholarships). And this is a very poor, rural area where you don't really expect those kinds of numbers.
