  • No sleep

Ugh, My 6 month old is sick, sick, sick... He was cranky all day yesterday, I thought it was teeth. But after he threw up last night every half an hour I don't think so. I breastfed him this morning for a little bit and he threw that up. I don't know what to give him??? I made some chamoille tea and gave him two teaspoons of it and he seems to have kept that down. He looks just so sluggish, poor thing. I hate when kids are sick. He has no fever either which I guess is a good thing. I hope he gets better soon. Well I had better go take a nap but first change all the sheets, yuck more laundry.

I don't know if this applies to babies, but I read in a parenting magazine that spoonfuls of the liquid in canned peaches is good when you can't keep anything down. It's wierd because I remember one time when I was a kid and I got the flu, I was craving those canned peaches!
I hope your baby gets better soon--it is exhausting and it is so sad to see them so miserable!
    Awake is the new sleep!

      Ah...I feel your pain!

Our ten month old seems to have a knack for attracting every illness in the breeze. I have had about 10hrs of sleep in the last three days. This past weekend was terrible, he ran fever off and on. When it would get to a certain range about 102, he just starts to vibrate a little (similar to a pager!). He hasn't seized any, but it will keep you awake wondering. No vomitting this time, just sad cries and lethargic movement. It hurts to hear them and kills since you can't DO anything for them but let it run its course. (and give Motrin/Tylenol)

DW and I joke that we won't know how to sleep through the night again, without getting up every 2 hours!

I can't remember what it feels like to sleep for 6hrs straight!?!?!

Here is to great naps today!
