She's got the "sick, sad baby" look, I'd keep her home too.

I just posted in my church group to see if anybody might be willing to help out, or if they have good suggestions. I don't generally mind keeping her at home with me, I'm just so behind with work, Thursdays I go to my other office, and it's my only day to get work done there, and I don't really feel all that well myself.

I don't know what to do with the antibiotics either - if it's viral, she doesn't need them. I didn't get the moxifloxacin the doctor prescribed because I wasn't going to pay $100 for it, and they never called me back with a new prescription.

Poor thing! I agree to keeping her home - no offense, but I wouldn't want her around healthy kids at this point, and they probably wouldn't let you drop her off at daycare. It probably is viral, so your best bet is just to treat the symptoms. Hugs, I know it's hard. I hope someone in your church group can help you out.

I do have a doctor's note, but I probably won't take her. I actually may take myself in to get a strep test, because my throat is absolutely killing me. It's excruciating to swallow, and I have white spots on my tonsils (not tonsil stones, I know what those look like, and this is different). I'm so miserable.

No strep, just a weird virus, probably. Of course, I already started the antibiotics... And naturally hubby isn't going to be home anytime soon to help with bedtime. I'm so exhausted.
