  • We are bad

After a week up getting up early, grouching at each other, being overtired and struggling to fall asleep at night, we all .....

    slept in until 1pm.

I have no idea how I'll get the kids to bed tonight. I don't know how I'll fall asleep tonight.

I hate the first week of school. Every year I tell myself I'm going to make a slow transition to healthier sleep times before school starts and then I so dread the end of summer that I put it off.

    1pm. Holy cow!

I think it's a circadian thing. We're early birds. I feel for the owl families this time of year.

I WISH my kid would do that! No matter how late he stays up, he won't sleep in past 8 (usually up between 6 and 7). Then he's just grouchy in the afternoon and evening.

I've got 2 morning birds too. I don't actually need an alarm clock, if they slept past 7, it's likely they are sick. :/

That sounds rejuvenating! Hope you're feeling rested today, even if it means difficult bedtimes this evening.
