My kids are very affectionate and kind. They are the kids that see someone fall down across the playground, run over, and help. I've been at school almost daily and every time at least one parent or teacher stops me to compliment me on my kids - it feels awesome. DH and I typically really work well with each other's parenting strengths and weaknesses to fill roles that suit us.

Right now, with DS1: manners, empathy, and compassion. (Can you tell I miss him?!)

With DS2: practicing self-care on a daily basis (I had such a hard time creating boundaries for my emotional and physician health with DS1. I'm using a pacifier, and showering when I want to with DS2. Baby steps.)
