You have time and having the debt paid down will ease family tensions and make it optional to stay at home. You can do mommy and me classes, get a sitter, have more financial options. I idealized having kids and didn't love my job. In retrospect I limited some of our options, for myself and my children, by rushing into it.
That said, everyone is on their own journey and will find a way to make things work. Some ways are more stressful, but you still get to the finish line. Some people do things perfectly, but are still never deeply happy and disappointed after following the right formula.
If you can compromise, work another year or two and then through pregnancy, that's usually a good place to start. Aim for the middle, and then just a little further.
