Above the ankle. "Keep on Breathing" with swirly thing. When she takes the pressure bandage off, I'll snap a picture.

Sigh. It does NOT get easier ... I long for the terrible twos. Those were the good ole' days.

Oh dear, but hey, now she always has a very important reminder literally written on her body.

              Too soon?

I'll say this: while I understand where you are coming from as a parent, this sentence could have had a much worse subject line.

Yeah, while it sucks if tattoos and body piercings are a giant no-no in your house, it could REALLY be a lot worse.

Every time DD1 fucks up, my first thought is always, "JFC am I glad she's not knocked up by the douche du jour."

Well, I totally underreacted to it in her presence. And ... Yes it could be worse. ..but I'm sure most of you wouldn't want this either.

I'm terrible, I know -- I think the script is nicely done.
FWIW, I had a choice body piercing for a long long time, so that probably slants my views on piercing and tattoos.
Feel free to ignore me! My biggest concerns are always: where was it done? (cleanliness), what is it of? and can it be easily covered for work/job interviews?

Did you find out who did it and the reputation of the place?

Ack! That's huge! I totally freaked out when my brother got a tattoo. He got a stupid one too. Sports team mascot. Really! I told my boys that my heart would break if they ruined the beautiful bodies that we and Gd made for them.

Oh Kris, it was so much easier when they were little wasn't it? I was just talking to a mom about that the other day. Her kids are all in their 20's and she was expressing the fact that she had no idea that the toddler years would be much more manageable. It's just so mentally exhausting (not the physical exhaustion you get with toddlers).

Sorry about the tattoo Not a fan of the ink but still a huge fan of Amanda!

I have the same perspective for the same reasons. Body piercing and tattoos aren't a huge deal to me, but I absolutely understand and respect why anyone would be less than thrilled for their kids to get either.

FWIW, at least it isn't "NO RAGRETS".
