    I read this and reviewed it the books section.....I just went over there and bumped it to the top for you.

    I actually emailed the author and told her about this site since she is a medical spouse. She sent me a nice email back a few weeks later and said she had been here and thought it was great......that her life was a little crazy right then, but that she would definitely be back to read more.

              I'm so glad to hear you all enjoyed the book/the blog. For those of you who haven't read the book yet, I'm doing a thing next month where if you sign up for an e-mail list, you get an essay from the book sent to you each weekday for the month of May. It's not *every* essay from the book -- I still want people to go out and buy the book! -- but it is 21 out of the 30 essays, and it's free!

              My husband is an ophthalmology resident (who was steamed that I referred to him preparing for this weekend's OKAPs as "studying for some doctor thing" on my blog). Compared to his friends, he's got a pretty cushy resident life. But I'm still kind of the single mom around here.

              Anyway, nice to be here, and thanks so much for liking the book & the site! My life is always crazy, but I love the idea of a forum like this, and hopefully I'll get to hang around here a little, kids and work willing!

                  Funny...I didn't see this post until this morning. Andi already came and went...I'm not sure how I missed that she was a medspouse too....I just ordered her book...I'll add to Sally's review when I'm done
