    GIRL
    GIRL
    GIRL
    GIRL
    GIRL
    GIRL
    GIRL
    GIRL
    GIRL!!!!!

At least they are fairly certain. We are thrilled! (Although we would have been thrilled either way.) Everything looks good...placenta starting to inch up out of placenta previa position and (knock on wood) no more spotting.

We can't believe our good fortune. I have to admit that Sean is a little nervous about having a girl. While we *try* to raise our kids gender neutrally (HA!---an impossible feat?) it is amazing how culturally embued norms come to mind when they say, "It's a ----".

I guess that I will have to be a better woman than I am to be an example for my daughter. Sean will have to chill. Each gender has their own vulnerabilities.

Before I digress too much, can I just say, WE ARE THRILLED!

      Congrats Kelly!

I have always had this mental fantasy of having girl- although I don't know why! Enjoy the rest of your your time with her, before you have to share!

Yay! Congratulations! I used to dream about having a big brother, too, though it may because my two big sisters used to antagonize me to no end. Anyhow, girls are so much fun to shop and decorate for, so enjoy!!!

Congratulations!! You now get to experience the world of pink clothes, dollies, rainbows, and ponies! ( I'm actually not joking - wait til this little girl is five ). I think your husband will adjust REAL quick to being wrapped around the pudgy finger of his sweet little girl. Why, just the other day I caught Jon playing "Ponies in rainbow land" with Maddy and Zoe. He actually attempted to explain "The Rules of Ponyland" to me. For instance, there are no bad guys in Ponyland - just the occasional scary thunderstorm. You'll love it!
