  • You call this winter?

We could all really really use a snow day.
And when I say "we" I really mean "me."
And preferable a Thursday - that's my hardest day.

I would love a day to stay home with the kids and shovel the driveway and drink cocoa.

This has been a rather lame winter. I'll keep my fingers crossed you get a snow day!

We would have gladly traded you some of ours. We have had I think 9. Hopefully we are done. They have removed teacher in service days for the remainder of the year, gotten rid of conferences and extended the school year by one day.

We only get hurricane days, and even then, they have to make landfall and be proposed to slam our county. No winter weather days! :/

Same as thirteen. Not gonna happen here unless we get flooding. In fact I'm wearing a t-shirt and flip flops at the moment.

Last winter we were throwing a backyard BBQ in December and only had one real snow end of January. This year we've had 2 snows and freezing temps in early December, but really not bad at all either. Fingers crossed February doesn't have surprises in store!

We had our first snow day in 3 years this winter. Lambie had no recollection of ever experiencing snow before.

Dh can't ski anymore due to his ankle reconstruction but ds has been tearing it up lol
He used to go to bromley through school but is now going to jiminy in mass. Are you guys going to stratton? He said the first week the snow was great and powder but now it's ice bc of the warm weather. I worry about him...he flies and clocks himself going faster than I'm comfortable with 😒

We've had an awesome winter on the west coast. Tons of rain, and it even snowed in our town twice, which it rarely does. Our ski resorts finally have lots of snow, and of course this is the year I'm pregnant and can't go...

                            Happy colons everywhere!! LOL.

I'm banking on a snow day tomorrow too, which sucks because I still have to work. Boo!

Good thing you hadn't done that colonoscopy prep already!

We're looking forward to some snow finally. DS (3) announced that he's building a snow castle.
