Preschool dilemma

Registration is next week and I have to decide which days I want to send my youngest (2).

My 4 year old has to go T/W/Th. I can send my 2 year old either T/Th or W/F.

T/Th would give me 2 weekdays with no children. I get a lot done during this time. A lot of it will be filled up by OB appts next year if all goes as planned.

W/F means I have to do dropoff an extra day and I only get one day alone. However, it would give me one day alone with my 4 year old and I think he might really treasure that.

I'm really leaning towards T/Th for sanity's sake--what would you do?

Eliminate additional p/u and drop offs — T/Th sounds good.

Another vote for T-Th! E still only goes M-W-F, and those are the days I usually wind up taking off from work to get time to myself or time alone with DH. 😊

I probably would have done the W/F. I had insane schedules when my boys were in preschool but really treasured my alone time with my kids. I felt like it was especially difficult to get one on one time with my middle child, which will be even more difficult once you have a 4th child if that's your plan.

T/Th is honestly more healthy for your entire family. It’s great for the boys to go to school “together” two days/week, it’s great to have a 4 day weekend for them, you’ve eliminated another drop off/pickup day which just allows more calm in the family, and last but not least you get two days to recharge/accomplishment a few things, other added bonus is you might be able to sneak in a quick coffee date with hubby or have some post call fun. Seriously, T/Th is just the wise choice 😀❤️

Great points! Every time you post I wish I could have you on some kind of parenting speed dial 😀. You should write a book.

ST I'm another vote for T/Th. Fewer drop offs/pick ups seems easier for everyone.
