  • WE GOT THE REFERRAL!!!

Holy Crap, they're gonna let me be a parent....

So, we got the "invitiation to travel" today. Blind. Meaning we have no idea whether Stoli really is a boy, a girl or relly just a bottle of vodka.

Off I went to United (since I'm at the level that my friend refers to as the Double Secret F-you level) and bought the tickets and used some miles as upgrades. (we'll be sitting in the upper deck of firstclass. ahhhh, this job of mine has paid off!) We leave 12/4 and return 12/11 and the second trip will be in late January. Let's spell cold, shall we?

I completed the application for the Visas, now we need to get another set of passport pictures. There's a ton of other stuff to do but for now, I'm waiting for Rick to get home from a conference on Autism (I tried to get him to let me come along, but was told no) so we can celebrate. When I called him to tell him, his first reaction was "Oh, Shit" which is I expect a similar reaction of many men when they find out a baby is coming!

Wow, how exciting!!! 12/4 is not that far away!! What exactly happens during the first trip? Is it the second trip where you get to bring home the baby? Congratulations, and good luck!
