New spin of kids say....

...Ok, our 4yr old is in preschool, and it seems quite an artist.

They had a project involving modeling clay. I have seen the art, and it is quite good if I do say so myself. He created a little person, with eyes, ears, arms, penis, legs, belly-button, butt, and hair.
Yes, there is a penis and a butt-including the crack- on this little six inch tall clay man. The teacher did an excellent job of transferring his focus and then letting him show me when I got there because it was put away, since it was SO good!! Should be a fun night conversation here!!

Yeah Matt- they do some funny things though. I really impressed with the butt crack though, that a kid with fabulous observational skills!!!

But if you want to feel a little better, when we were in Italy for my friends wedding the Best Man brought his family (they live in Europe). They gave their daughter who was five, a sketch book and some big drawing pencils.

So, she quite literally drew everything she saw. and when you think of the statuary in Florence, and the view of a five year old...well, let's just say that the penii abounded. They were a wee bit concerned about her return to kindergarten and bringing her sketch book to show and tell....
