We are in a playgroup that meets once a week, but that's about it. When the weather is nicer out, we do schedule an outing maybe once a week or so and we usually invite neighborhood friends to come along. I rarely make playdates with people, I'm not sure why. Maybe it is to avoid having to clean my house (before and after!).

Play Dates

I have 10 month old, so I go on them infrequently although I have gone on them before. I am in a playgroup ( of medical spouses) that meets weekly although we have been slack since thanksgiving. Mostly I like to go because I am really trying to make friends and it is a good social outlet for me.Mom to three wild women.

We don't schedule regular playdates as we have a weekly playgroup in our neighborhood and she has MDO. However, we end up meeting up with kids outside or making occassional outings. Sometimes we just call up one of the neighbors to come over so the moms can get a little break. My 3 yo loves to play with other kids and I love having some adult conversation. I think this will especially be more true in the winter when it is hard for us to play outside.Needs
